Find an Agent
|
Virginia Johnson
Broker Associate, GRI, CRS
If the question is value, the answer is Virginia.
“ . . . choose an agent” . . . yeah, right - as if you could tell from a picture and a few words - or as if we’d say anything bad about ourselves on our bio pages!
Well, anyway - the professional credits are listed farther below - I started real estate in 1973.
I also:
· Answer questions and price homes for free.
· Have worked in three different real estate markets in Kansas, Alaska and now Colorado.
· Advised sellers on how to “stage” their homes for buyers - before it was ever called “staging”.
· Received an award for the most accurate prediction of sale values in Anchorage for the whole western region of a major relocation company.
· Ranked in the top five in my large Anchorage real estate company for nine years.
· Received recognition from Fannie Mae for help with REOs.
· Am computer literate and believe strongly in research and market knowledge.
· Have worked with developers, several different major builders, relocation companies and lots of nice people.
· HATE high pressure salesmen - and so try not to be one . . .
· HATE salesmen who don’t follow up and help with my order when I AM ready - and so try not to do that either.
I’ve helped hundreds of people over dozens of years buy or sell their home in great, good, bad and horrible markets. It’s one of the most important events in your lives, and I love being a part of it!
But don’t just take my word on paper for all this, let’s go have tea at Montagues and you can decide in person if you want me to work for you! My direct line is 719-527-1994 or email me at vjohnson@ERAShields.com.
Some personal “stuff” - I:
· Have been married to my husband, Carl, for lots of years.
· We have one terrific daughter, Blaine, who’s a student at Western State majoring in business and recreation and does things like snow camping and rock climbing (no, she’s not adopted!)
· Have a Portuguese Water dog and am nutty about the breed.
· Took an hiatus from real estate to help my husband run our horse transportation business and learned more about trucks and employment regulations than I ever wanted to know (we sold it!).
· LOVE to read mystery and suspense novels, go to the theater, decorate, do or view art, do home projects (built our deck), travel, shop, sell real estate - and see other people’s houses!
The professional information as promised - I:
· Have a BA in English from Principia College in Elsah,Illinois.
· Have a GRI designation (Graduate Realtors Institute).
· Am a charter member CRS (Certified Residential Specialist).
· Am a member of PPAR (Pikes Peak Association of Realtors).
· Am a member of NAR (National Association of Realtors).
· Am a member of CAR (Colorado Association of Realtors).
· Have taken architectural design and development courses.
· Have taken relocation instruction from major relocation companies.
· Am working on becoming an ECO Broker (ecology - think “green”).
· Am taking courses on Energy Star homes and construction (think “pay for equity - instead of paying for energy!”)
Would you like green tea or raspberry zinger?
